I drew this late at night one Tuesday night. I was in Katherine's dorm, being quizzed by my roommate on American Heritage facts. So to busy my hands, I took her pastels, a piece of black paper and a photo of :iconkatherfizzle: as a wee fish-lovin child, and whipped this out in about an hour. Very rough and anatomy wildly incorrect, but fun all the same! I had fun with the blues and purples in her face. I've never drawn with unnatural colors before, and I really really like it :3

This is fascinating. You have captured an interesting emotion. It's almost as if Katherine wishes to be the fish, devoid of cares and worries...and a history test. It's almost as if the fish were free and Katherine is the trapped one. OK I'm reading too much into this. Great job with the colors!
