Hello all my loverly Devious friends!

About two months into my summer home in Boston. I'm itching to go back to Utah, to the big open sky, the mountains reaching towards the sky, the nice warm, dry climate (though as of late I've heard it's been rather wet), and the amazing people who live there. Part of my yearning to return is my joblessness, and resulting aimlessness. *sigh* Still looking for a job, as are so many others. I'm considering opening up for commissions to get a little bit of cashflow, soooo *waggles eyebrows* Do let me know if you'd like to commish, and we will bargain on the price!

In other news, I've been taking private and group ballroom lessons at Boston Ballroom Dance Center with Peter Kovacs and Marisa Panos to prepare for the BYU Ballroom Team audition in the fall. I had my first competition at the Yankee Classic in Cambridge. I competed in Bronze International Cha Cha and Rumba, and I placed First in all four of my dances! :D :D :D I'm so excited! Now I have two more months of Standard technique to prepare for the waltz and american cha cha.

A few artistic updates. My dad :icontorchf15: got me some BEAUTIFUL ink pens, and I'm really nervous to try them out. You can see his work in his gallery - it's flipping amazing. I'm working on my pen-and-ink technique, and should have some cougars up pretty soon. Yes, cougars. What else would I draw, coming from BYU?

I'm also going to start a collaboration with my dear friend :iconlivelifesoul:. He just bought a GORGEOUS new camera, and we're planning some awesome shots with him and his basses. Plus some. Can you believe he's letting me even get close to the shiny new camera? O_o

I PROMISE I will finish the quetzalcoatl soon! And I am planning a fun stargazing/astronomy/starry oil painting series. And I need to work on my manga-style drawing technique. Because honestly, I can't draw japanese for beans. And all those doodles I told you about? Coming soon.

Thank you all for your support and faves and comments! *hugs for everyone!*

haha, I remember using Asimov's "I Robot" in my American Heritage paper :D
I'm a little offset of you - I just left BYU and I am definitely ready for new scenery for the next little while before I go back.
I had no idea your dad was AMAZING at drawing! Guess it makes sense though, seeing your wonderful creations :woohoo: Can't wait to see your newest creations!!!

hmmm. . .
i might ask for a commission just to help you out, but i'm afraid i'm really pretty broke and probably can't pay you more than, like, $5, so i guess it isn't really that much help.
